What is the inspiration for your design?
‘THE GRID’ is inspired by the warmth of close family ties that is typical among Asian homes. It aims to resonate the same as the space ensures interactions without disrupting the functionality of the bathroom.
How does the design fulfill the need of the target users?
With the strategy of separating every area in the bathroom, the users get to perform tasks without having to wait for the other to finish. While universal design is aimed to be achieved, the space is kid-friendly and fun in many ways, allowing each to circle the space- making the bath experience more than just a task.
How does the design fulfill the design challenge?
Home is where the heart is, as we all know and aim for every residential design challenge. Designing for families require more than just patterning their needs and making spaces functionalthe warmth, initiated interaction, and opportunity for personalization make ‘THE GRID’ an ideal space where the bathroom is reinvented without stripping away the chance to grow as a family.
How does the choice of products contribute to the purpose of the design?
The products are of quality- the kind that every family home needs. Each is intuitiveto use for every age. The finishes also match the concept proposal,while making the space stylish, timeless, and most importantly, safe especially for the elderlies and children.
