About the Design
What is the inspiration for your design?
The design is inspired by a moment when I felt drained and uninspired by work. On a morning walk, sunlight streaming through the trees created shimmering shadows and a gentle warmth that renewed my energy and motivation. This experience became the concept for the bathroom: “the first light of the day.” Light here is not merely for visibility but serves to uplift mood, confidence, and creativity across all ages. Under the concept Glow to Inspire Everyday, the bathroom transforms into a daily ritual space where users can pause, refresh, and reconnect with themselves. The soft, sparkling illumination evokes a sense of clarity, renewal, and calm, helping users start their day feeling inspired and emotionally rejuvenated. By turning light into a gentle, emotional guide, the space encourages a positive and mindful beginning to everyday life.
How does the design fulfill the need of the target users?
The bathroom is designed to accommodate users of all ages, combining flexibility with inclusivity. Soft, balanced lighting provides visual comfort for elderly users, while reflective surfaces and playful details stimulate creativity in children and artists. Functional zones support a wide range of daily activities, from moments of reflection during personal care to relaxing showers, including seating for both children and the elderly. The space also facilitates self-care routines and safe, convenient family interactions. Natural light, effective ventilation, and clear circulation enhance comfort and accessibility. By integrating these elements, the bathroom becomes a shared yet personal environment that promotes confidence, refreshment, and emotional well-being, ensuring it is functional, inspiring, adaptable, and welcoming for all generations.

By combining natural light, artificial glow, and careful design, the space becomes inclusive, adaptable, and enriching, bringing warmth, joy, and inspiration at any time, fully embodying a space that nurtures and uplifts its users.
