What is the inspiration for your design?
Drawing from Asian tropical domestic life, the bathroom is conceived as an integral part of daily routines. Climate-responsive design, natural light, and sustainable material choices support shared use, comfort, and a grounded sense of place.
How does the design fulfill the need of the target users?
Designed for multigenerational use, the bathroom supports children, adults, and elderly users through clear zoning, intuitive layouts, accessible fixtures, and integrated storage, creating a safe, comfortable, and inclusive environment within a compact space.
How does the design fulfill the design challenge?
Within a compact 7-square-meter footprint, the design emphasizes spatial clarity through a continuous layout, vertical storage, and clear zoning, allowing multiple activities to occur comfortably while maintaining a calm, organized, and adaptable residential bathroom.
How does the choice of products contribute to the purpose of the design?
The integrated products support intuitive, adaptable use across different ages, enhancing comfort, efficiency, and ease of use while allowing the bathroom to respond naturally to everyday family routines over time.
