What is the inspiration for your design?
Referring to urbanization, people immediately think of the popular model of townhouses in Vietnam. With the characteristic of a narrow and long plot, the toilet and bathroom spaces are less noticeable and considered as an extra space. This space is often wet, feeling uncomfortable when experiencing. With the desire to change that mindset, urbanization here is a restroom space suitable for most townhouses. Applying the spirit of Japanese architecture. Moderate in space volume, aesthetics, cost, meeting both material and spiritual amenities. Especially during the pandemic, indoor spaces should also meet the needs of relaxation and regeneration.
Who is the target user and how does the design fulfill the need of the target user?
Targeting families with a common number of 4 people including parents and children. The design meets 2 main needs to reduce stress and connect family members. Use light colors, materials, combine outdoor space and trees to regenerate energy. Heal the user. The premises are arranged with separate functions but using materials (glass) to create interactions in activities. When opening the door, creating an interconnected space, members can communicate easily even in family activities such as cleaning and decorating.
